HOW TO PLAY

Simply pick one team each round.
You can pick any team you like.
There are no restrictions.
If the team you pick wins, you gain points and your streak builds.
However, if your team fails to win, or you fail to make a pick your streak is over.
And you start again from zero.
Ok, here’s the twist
Points are based on the current league positions at the start of each game round:
1 point for teams in the top 4
2 points for 5th - 8th
3 points for 9th - 12th
4 points for 13th - 16th
5 points for 17-20th
Plus one bonus point for an away win.
So, the greater the risk, the greater the reward.

Cup Competitions
The FootyStreak Knockout Cup
To take place after Christmas.
Each round, streakers to be drawn against each other in a one-off knockout showdown.
Whoever scores the most points that week in each showdown progresses
Losers are dumped out.
(In the case of a draw the streaker highest in the table progresses.)
(In the case of it still being equal, the streaker with the highest streak going into the fixture progresses)
(In the case of it still being equal, the streaker with the longest streak going into the fixture progresses)
The Last Streaker Standing Pot Luck Cup
Each week, from Round 11 onwards, the FootyStreak Die of Destiny will be rolled.
If an ODD number is thrown the round is ‘Dead’ and nobody is knocked out.
If, however, an EVEN number is thrown the round is ‘Live’.
In this case, if a streaker's team fails to win they are knocked out of the cup.
And if their team wins they stay in to fight another day.
We go again.
Week after week.
Until just one streaker is left standing, claiming the £100 prize and being crowned the FootyStreak Last Streaker Standing Pot Luck Cup Champion.
(The prize will be split if multiple streakers go out last leaving no streaker standing, or if multiple streakers see it through to the end of the season)
The Champagne League
After 29 Rounds, the 32 Streakers with the highest streaks throughout the season enter a two legged knockout competition.
The streaker with the highest streak plays the 32nd highest streaker.
The 2nd-highest streaker plays the 31st highest and so on. The final is played over a single game week, the final Round of the season.
(In the case of a draw, the streaker highest in the table progresses)
(In the case of it still being equal, the streaker with the highest streak going into the fixture progresses)
(In the case of it still being equal, the streaker with the longest streak going into the fixture progresses)
The Small Print
The points for Round One are based on the final league standings at the end of the previous season, with the 3 promoted clubs placed 18th, 19th & 20th in the table.
You can not make a pick after the deadline of a round has passed.
If the team you select has their match cancelled after the deadline, your current streak freezes and you start the next round as per the previous round. (This rule is primarily used for fixtures being cancelled due to the weather)
If the team you select has two or more matches in a round they win points for all games. However, if they fail to win any of the games in that round you lose your streak. (This rule will primarily be used when a team has an extra fixture due to rearrangement.)
If two or more streakers are tied on points, prizes and glory are equally shared.
The StreakMaster plays, however, the StreakMaster’s pick is announced to all Streakers at the start of each round.
The StreakMaster’s decision is final.
